Method

Brewing the Tea

1

Boil the Water

In a kettle, bring 1 cup of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

2

Add Green Tea Leaves

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 teaspoons of green tea leaves.

3

Steep the Tea

Allow the tea to steep for 2-3 minutes depending on your taste preference. Steeping longer will result in a stronger flavor.

4

Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a cup to remove the leaves.

Adding Optional Ingredients

5

Sweeten if Desired

If you prefer a sweeter tea, add 1 tablespoon of honey to the strained tea and stir until dissolved.

6

Add Lemon and Mint

For an extra flavor boost, add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a few mint leaves to your cup.
