Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Steak

Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps in cooking the steak evenly.

2

Season the Steak

Rub both sides of the ribeye steaks with olive oil. Season generously with kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Add fresh rosemary on top for extra flavor.

Grilling

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F). Make sure the grill grates are clean and oiled to prevent sticking.

4

Grill the Steaks

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the hot grill. For medium-rare, grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them. Flip the steaks and grill for another 4-5 minutes on the other side.

5

Add Butter (Optional)

If desired, during the last minute of grilling, add a tablespoon of butter on top of each steak to melt for added richness.

Resting and Serving

6

Rest the Steak

Once done, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.

7

Serve

Serve the grilled ribeye steaks with lemon wedges on the side for added flavor. Enjoy!
