Tuna Tartare

Spicy Aioli

Method

Tuna Tartare Preparation

1

Prepare the Tuna

Finely dice the fresh tuna using a sharp knife. Make sure to keep the pieces uniform in size for even flavor distribution.

2

Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the diced tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, finely chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, and lime juice. Stir gently to combine, and add salt to taste.

3

Prepare Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash gently with a fork until creamy but still chunky. Season with a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime juice.

Spicy Aioli Preparation

4

Combine Aioli Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, minced garlic clove, lime juice, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Assembly

5

Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, create a base layer with the mashed avocado. Then, carefully spoon the tuna mixture on top of the avocado.

6

Drizzle Aioli

Drizzle the spicy aioli over the tuna tartare for an extra kick of flavor. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or on cucumber slices.
