Mix Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the 12yr dark rum, Vela coffee liqueur, and brewed coffee. Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake the Cocktail
Shake well until the mixture is chilled, about 15 seconds.

Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled glass. Top with whipped cream to taste.
