Macerated Fruit and Beverage Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

1

Macerate the Fruit

Slice the orange, lemon, lime, and strawberries. In a large pitcher, combine the sliced fruits with sugar. Gently muddle the fruit and sugar together to release the juices.

2

Combine the Ingredients

Add the wine, brandy, and triple sec to the pitcher with the macerated fruit. Stir well to combine.

3

Chill

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for better flavor infusion.

4

Serve

Just before serving, add soda water or lemon-lime soda to the pitcher. Stir gently and serve over ice in glasses, garnished with additional fruit slices if desired.
