Method

Burger Directions

1

Prepare the Burger Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into 2 equal patties.

2

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain excess fat.

3

Cook the Patties

In the same skillet with bacon drippings, cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Top each patty with aged cheddar cheese during the last minute of cooking.

4

Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and steak sauce until well combined.

5

Assemble the Burger

Spread the steak sauce mayo on the bottom half of the burger bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, followed by 2 slices of bacon, and finish with the top half of the bun.

French Fries Directions

6

Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips to form fries.

7

Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potato strips in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

8

Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, season with salt to taste.

Whipped Potatoes Directions

9

Cook the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

10

Whip the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter and heavy cream, then mash and whip until smooth. Season with salt to taste.

Charred Asparagus Directions

11

Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the ends of the asparagus. Toss with olive oil and season with salt.

12

Char the Asparagus

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the asparagus for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred and tender.
