Method

Prepare the Tea

Boil the Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Brew the Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.

Sweeten the Tea

After steeping, add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the tea and stir until dissolved. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then strain out the tea leaves.

Assemble the Drink

Prepare the Glasses

Fill a glass with 1 cup of ice cubes.

Pour the Tea

Pour the cooled sweetened tea over the ice-filled glass until it’s about 3/4 full.

Add the Milks

Top the tea with 3 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk and 3 tablespoons of evaporated milk. Stir gently to combine, if desired.

Serve

Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy your refreshing Thai iced tea!
