1

Prepare glass

If you prefer a salted rim, run the lime wedge around the outside top edge of a highball or Collins glass, then dip the rim into a shallow dish with the kosher or sea salt so it adheres. Fill the glass with cubed ice (about 1 cup).

2

Mix tequila and lime

In a mixing glass or shaker with no need to shake, add 2 oz Campo Azul tequila, 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice, and 0.25 oz agave nectar (or simple syrup). Briefly stir with a bar spoon until the sweetener is mostly incorporated (about 10–15 seconds).

3

Assemble

Pour the tequila, lime, and sweetener mixture over the ice in the prepared glass. Top with 4 oz chilled grapefruit soda, pouring gently to preserve carbonation. Stir once or twice gently to combine (about 5 seconds).

4

Garnish and serve

Garnish with the lime wedge and/or a grapefruit wedge or twist. Serve immediately with a straw if desired.
