Patty Preparation
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1 inch thick.
House Sauce Preparation
Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir until well blended.
Assembly
Prepare the Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
Add Toppings
On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf followed by a slice of tomato. Place the cooked beef patty on top.
Apply the Sauce
Drizzle the house sauce generously over the patty.
Complete the Burger
Top with the other half of the bun to complete the burger. Serve immediately.
