Winemaking Process
Harvesting
Harvest the Riesling grapes at optimal ripeness, ensuring they are free from pests and diseases.
Crushing and Pressing
Crush the grapes and press them to extract the juice. Ensure gentle handling to preserve the delicate flavors.
Fermentation
Transfer the grape juice to a fermentation vessel and add yeast. Allow fermentation to occur at controlled temperatures for several weeks.
Racking
Once fermentation is complete, rack the wine to separate it from the sediment. This may be done several times to clarify the wine.
Aging
Age the wine in stainless steel or oak barrels for several months to develop flavor and complexity.
Bottling
Once aging is complete, add sulfites for preservation, then bottle the wine. Seal and label the bottles for sale.
