Cocktail

Method

Prepare

1

Chill glass

Place a coupe or martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water while you build the cocktail to ensure the drink stays cool.

2

Juice grapefruit

If using whole grapefruit, cut one in half and juice until you have 3 oz (about half a large pink grapefruit). Strain solids for a smooth texture if desired.

Shake & Serve

3

Fill a cocktail shaker with the ice (about 1 cup). Add 3 oz fresh pink grapefruit juice, 1.5 oz Smirnoff Peach vodka, 0.5 oz citrus liqueur, 0.5 oz apple liqueur, 0.25 oz melon liqueur, 0.25 oz simple syrup (optional), and 0.25 oz fresh lime juice.

4

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is cold and the outside is frosty. This chills and lightly dilutes the cocktail for balance.

5

Discard ice or water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass to remove ice shards and any pulp for a clean presentation.

6

Garnish with a grapefruit wheel or a grapefruit twist on the rim and, if desired, tuck a mint sprig alongside for aroma.

Serving & Notes

7

Serve immediately. Taste and, if needed, adjust future pours by adding 0.25 oz more simple syrup for sweetness or 0.25 oz more grapefruit juice for brighter citrus.

8

To make a slightly lighter, longer variation, top the cocktail with 1–2 oz chilled club soda in a highball glass and serve over fresh ice.
