Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or Collins glass with 1 cup of fresh ice and set aside to chill while you mix the drink.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 6 ice cubes, 2 oz Smirnoff vanilla vodka, 3 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz strawberry puree, and 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice. If you prefer a slightly sweeter drink, add 0.25 oz simple syrup.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker is frosty and the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted.

4

Strain and serve

Strain the contents of the shaker into the prepared glass over the ice. Use a fine mesh strainer if your strawberry puree has seeds or large bits.

Garnish

5

Garnish the drink with a strawberry slice or a pineapple wedge on the rim and an optional lemon wheel for brightness. Serve immediately with a straw.
