Combine base ingredients
In a blender, add 2 oz vodka, 1 oz orange liqueur, and 3 oz Florida-style orange juice.
Add cream & ice
Add 1.5 cups vanilla ice cream and 2 Tbsp whole milk (or heavy cream). If you prefer a slightly slushier texture, add up to 1 cup ice. Do not overfill the blender jar—leave a little headspace.
Blend to smooth
Secure the lid and blend on medium-high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 20–35 seconds. Scrape down the sides once if needed and pulse again briefly to fully incorporate.
Assemble & Garnish
Top with approximately 2 Tbsp whipped cream, either store-bought from a can or freshly whipped.
Garnish with 1 orange slice on the rim or floated on the whipped cream. Optionally, grate a tiny pinch of orange zest over the top for extra aroma.
Serve immediately with a straw or small long spoon. Stir once before drinking to marry the alcohol with the cream if it has started to separate.
Notes & Variations
To make a non-blended version: in a shaker, combine the vodka, orange liqueur, and orange juice with ice; shake and strain into a glass with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top with whipped cream. For a boozier drink, increase vodka by 0.5–1 oz; for a lighter cocktail, reduce vodka to 1–1.5 oz.
