Preparation

1

Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corkscrew pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Pesto

In a food processor, combine basil, sage, parsley, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil, Grana Padano cheese, and salt. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

3

Mix Pasta and Pesto

In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta and the pesto. Toss until the pasta is well coated.

Toppings

4

Add Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Fold in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes into the pasta mixture.

5

Prepare Sourdough Bread

Brush the sourdough slices with olive oil and rub with the halved garlic cloves. Toast in a skillet until golden brown on both sides.

6

Serve

Serve the pasta topped with additional grated Grana Padano cheese and with the toasted sourdough bread on the side.
