Preparation

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well combined.

2

Marinate the Meat

Place the pork ribs and chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or a dish. Pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring it's fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

Cooking

3

Prepare the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until mixed well and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and let it cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.

4

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

5

Grill the Meat

Remove the meat from the marinade and shake off any excess. Place the pork ribs and chicken thighs on the grill. Grill the meat for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) for chicken and 145°F (63°C) for ribs.

6

Baste with BBQ Sauce

During the last 5-10 minutes of grilling, brush the meat generously with the prepared BBQ sauce, turning to coat all sides.

7

Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the meat from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve with remaining BBQ sauce on the side.
