Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the Elijah Craig Bourbon, Averna Amaro, honey syrup, and fresh lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice.
Shake Well
Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of barrel aged bitters on top of the drink for garnish.
Garnish and Enjoy
Garnish with a lemon twist or slice if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
