Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

1

Mix the Patty Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined but do not overwork the meat.

2

Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick.

3

Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Prepare the Toppings

4

Slice the Onion

Peel and thinly slice the red onion. Set aside.

5

Melt the Brie

During the last minute of cooking the patties, place slices of brie cheese on top of each patty and cover to melt slightly.

Assemble the Burger

6

Toast the Buns

Spread butter on the cut sides of the burger buns and toast them on the grill or skillet until golden brown.

7

Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, spread a spoonful of cranberry sauce. Place the cooked patty with melted brie on top, followed by fresh arugula, sliced red onion, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

8

Complete the Burger

Place the top half of the bun on the assembled ingredients and press down gently. Serve immediately.
