Method

Coffee Preparation

1

Choose Your Coffee Type

Decide whether you want to brew regular or decaf coffee. You can also brew both by splitting the coffee beans.

2

Measure Coffee Beans

Measure 0.5 cups of regular coffee beans and 0.5 cups of decaf coffee beans if making both types.

3

Grind Coffee Beans

Grind the coffee beans to a medium grind size for optimal brewing.

Brewing Process

4

Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of fresh water to a boil.

5

Add Coffee Grounds

Once the water has boiled, remove it from heat and add the ground coffee. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are saturated.

6

Steep Coffee

Let the coffee steep for about 4-5 minutes for best flavor extraction.

7

Strain Coffee

Use a coffee filter or a fine mesh strainer to strain the coffee into a pot or carafe.

Serving Suggestions

8

Add Sugar and Milk

Serve coffee hot. Add sugar and milk or cream to taste, if desired.

9

Enjoy Your Coffee

Pour into a cup and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee, whether regular or decaf.
