Method

Preparation of Jamón

1

Slice the Jamón

Carefully slice the Jamón Ibérico and Jamón de Segovia into thin pieces using a sharp knife. Aim for slices that are about 2-3 mm thick for optimal flavor and texture.

2

Prepare the Bread

Toast the slices of crusty bread lightly until they are golden brown. This will enhance the flavor and provide a nice crunch.

3

Prepare the Tomato

Wash the fresh tomato and cut it in half. Rub the cut side of the tomato over the toasted bread to impart its flavor. Discard the remaining tomato skin.

4

Drizzle with Olive Oil

Drizzle the toasted bread topped with tomato with olive oil for added richness and flavor. Use about half a tablespoon per slice.

5

Season with Sea Salt

Sprinkle sea salt over the prepared bread according to your taste preference.

Plating the Dish

6

Arrange the Jamón

On a large serving platter, elegantly arrange the slices of Jamón Ibérico and Jamón de Segovia, ensuring that they are not overlapping too much, to showcase the beautiful marbling.

7

Add Garnishes

Scatter the olives and Marcona almonds around the platter, and add fresh herbs for a pop of color and flavor.

8

Serve

Serve the platter with the prepared toasted bread on the side. Enjoy immediately as a delightful appetizer or snack!
