Dough Preparation
Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Mix well.
Combine Ingredients
Create a well in the center of the flour mixture. Pour in the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a rough dough forms.
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Let Dough Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Assembling the Pinsa
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
Shape the Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Shape it into a rectangular or oval shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
Bake the Dough
Transfer the shaped dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet or directly onto the hot pizza stone. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Add Nutella
Once the pinsa is baked, remove it from the oven and spread a generous layer of Nutella over the warm dough.
Add Toppings
Slice fresh strawberries and arrange them over the Nutella. Top with dollops of whipped cream.
Serve
Slice the pinsa into pieces and serve immediately while warm, enjoying the combination of Nutella, strawberries, and whipped cream.
