Crostini

Method

Prepare Crostini

1

Slice the Baguette

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices on a diagonal.

2

Brush with Olive Oil

Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

3

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the crostini are golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Prepare Fruit Topping

4

Prepare the Fruits

Wash and slice the assorted seasonal fruits into bite-sized pieces. If using figs, cut them into quarters.

5

Mix with Honey and Mint

In a mixing bowl, combine the prepared fruits with honey and finely chopped fresh mint leaves. Toss gently to coat the fruits evenly.

Assemble Crostini

6

Spread Ricotta

Take each crostini and spread a generous layer of ricotta cheese on top.

7

Top with Fruit Mixture

Spoon the honey-mint fruit mixture over the ricotta spread on each crostini.

8

Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze

Finish by drizzling balsamic glaze over the top of the assembled crostini for an extra layer of flavor.

Serve

9

Plate and Serve

Arrange the crostini on a serving platter. Serve immediately as a delightful appetizer or snack.
