Method

Preparation and Cooking

1

Prepare the Wonton Crunch

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the wonton wrappers into small triangles. Brush with cooking oil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 7-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

2

Make the Shallot-Shoyu Butter

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add finely diced shallots and sauté until translucent. Stir in shoyu, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and mix in chopped chives.

3

Prepare the Oysters

Oyster shells should be cleaned and opened. Place them on a baking sheet.

4

Assemble and Bake

Spoon the shallot-shoyu butter mixture generously over each oyster. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the oysters are cooked and the butter is bubbling.

5

Serve

Remove from the oven and top with wonton crunch before serving. Enjoy!
