Directions

1

Prepare the Mint

In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, place the fresh mint leaves. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press the mint leaves to release their oils, making sure not to shred them too much.

2

Add Lime Juice

Pour the fresh lime juice over the muddled mint leaves. This will help to further release the mint flavor and combine it with the tartness of the lime.

3

Mix in Limoncello

Add the limoncello to the glass or shaker, along with the simple syrup. Stir or shake gently to combine all the ingredients well.

4

Prepare the Glass

Fill a serving glass with ice cubes, ensuring it’s packed but not overflowing.

5

Combine with Soda Water

Strain the mint-limoncello mixture over the ice in the glass. Top it off with soda water, pouring gently to maintain the fizz.

6

Garnish and Serve

Add lime wedges to the glass for garnish, and place a mint sprig on top. Serve immediately with a straw, if desired.
