Prepare the Infusion

In a clean glass jar, combine the Camerena Reposado Tequila, sliced fresh ginger, and halved serrano peppers. Seal the jar tightly and let it infuse for at least 24 hours at room temperature, shaking it gently every few hours.

Margarita Mix

Mix the Margarita

Once the tequila infusion is ready, strain the infused tequila into a cocktail shaker. Add the triple sec, fresh squeezed lime juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake gently to combine.

Serving

Prepare the Glass

Moisten the rim of a rocks glass with a lime wedge and dip it into salt to coat the rim lightly. Fill the glass with ice.

Serve the Margarita

Strain the margarita mixture into the prepared glass over the ice. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim and serve immediately.
