Preparation Directions

1

Prepare the Pizza Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the pizza dough ingredients and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

2

Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the tomato sauce, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) while the sauce simmers and the dough rises.

4

Assemble the Pizza

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread the prepared tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

5

Bake the Pizza

Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

6

Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Slice it up and serve hot. Enjoy your Mariner Pizza!
