Method

Preparing the Steak

1

Season the Ribeye

Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Allow the steaks to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

2

Sear the Steak

Heat a grill or cast-iron skillet over high heat. Once hot, place the steaks on the grill and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Add fresh rosemary to the skillet during the last minute of cooking for extra flavor.

3

Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Cooking the Shrimp

4

Melt the Butter

In the same skillet used for the steak (or a separate pan), melt the butter over medium heat.

5

Sauté the Garlic

Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

6

Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Optional Sides

7

Prepare Asparagus

While the steak and shrimp are cooking, toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

8

Sauté Asparagus

In another skillet, sauté the asparagus over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.

Serving

9

Plate the Dish

Slice the ribeye steak and arrange it on a plate alongside the sautéed shrimp. If using, add the sautéed asparagus as a side. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
