Dough Preparation

Make the Dough

In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add water and olive oil, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.

Rest the Dough

Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Roll and Cut the Dough

After resting, roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into rectangles approximately 3x5 inches.

Fry the Dough

Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the dough pieces in batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
