Prepare the Glass
Rub the rim of a chilled margarita glass with a lime wedge and dip it into salt to coat the rim.
Blend the Ingredients
In a blender, combine the tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and ice. If making a guava margarita, substitute the lime juice with guava juice.
Blend Until Smooth
Blend the mixture until smooth and slushy in texture.
Serve
Pour the blended margarita into the prepared glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
