Method

Brewing the Tea

1

Heat the Water

In a kettle, heat 1 cup of fresh water until it reaches a temperature of about 175°F (80°C). It's important not to boil the water, as boiling can scorch the delicate green tea leaves.

2

Steep the Tea

Once the water is heated, pour it over the 2 tsp of Dragonwell green tea leaves in a teapot or heatproof vessel. Allow the tea to steep for 2-3 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

3

Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer or a tea infuser to separate the liquid from the leaves.

Flavoring the Tea

4

Add Honey

While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 tablespoon of honey until completely dissolved. This will add sweetness and enhance the flavor.

5

Add Lemon Juice

Next, squeeze in 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice for a zesty kick that complements the green tea.

6

Garnish with Mint

Finally, add 5 fresh mint leaves to the tea for an aromatic finish. You can gently bruise the leaves to release more of their flavor before adding them.
