Cocktail Preparation

1

Muddle the Mint and Sugar

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and granulated sugar. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press the mint leaves to release their oils and combine with the sugar. Do this for about 10-15 seconds.

2

Add Lime Juice

Pour in the fresh lime juice, stirring gently to dissolve the sugar completely in the mixture.

3

Add Rum

Add the white rum to the mixture and stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

4

Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes to the top, ensuring that the mixture is chilled and refreshing.

5

Top with Club Soda

Slowly pour the club soda over the ice, filling the glass to the brim. This will give the mojito its signature fizz.

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish your mojito with lime wedges and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately with a straw for stirring.
