Cabbage Slaw

Method

Prepare Fish

1

Marinate the Fish

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Add the white fish fillets and coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

2

Grill the Fish

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Once cooked, remove from the grill and set aside.

Prepare Cabbage Slaw

3

Mix Slaw Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss everything together until well combined. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Assemble Tacos

4

Warm the Tortillas

In a skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

5

Build the Tacos

On each tortilla, place a portion of the grilled fish, top with cabbage slaw, add a few slices of avocado, and a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt. Drizzle with hot sauce to taste.

6

Serve

Serve the fish tacos immediately while warm, garnished with extra lime wedges if desired.
