Preparation
Make Honey Simple Syrup
To make the honey simple syrup, combine equal parts honey and hot water in a mixing bowl or jar. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved. Allow it to cool before use.
Juice the Lemon
Squeeze fresh lemons to obtain 0.75 oz of lemon juice. Strain to remove any seeds or pulp if necessary.
Mixing the Cocktail
Combine the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Angel's Envy Rye, 1 oz of La Fuerza Rosé Vermouth, 0.5 oz of absinthe, 0.5 oz of pineapple liqueur, 0.5 oz of honey simple syrup, and 0.75 oz of lemon juice.
Shake and Chill
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds or until well chilled.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Optionally, rinse the glass with absinthe before pouring for an enhanced flavor.
