Preparation Steps
Muddle the Sugar
In a mixing glass, muddle the demerara sugar with the bitters.
Add Bourbon
Pour in the aged bourbon and stir gently to combine.
Add Ice
Add ice cubes to the mixing glass and stir until well chilled.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into an old fashioned glass over a large ice cube.
Garnish
Garnish with the Luxardo cherry and express the oils from the orange peel over the drink before placing it in the glass.
