Method

Prepare the Tiger Prawns

1

Marinate the Prawns

In a bowl, combine the tiger prawns with olive oil, minced garlic, chili flakes, and salt. Mix well and let marinate for at least 20 minutes.

2

Cook the Prawns

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated tiger prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Make the Nam Jim Sauce

3

Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the fish sauce, lime juice, palm sugar, minced garlic, and chopped red chili until the sugar dissolves. Set aside.

Prepare the Slaw

4

Mix the Slaw Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded papaya, shredded carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss well to combine.

Assemble the Dish

5

Serve

On a serving plate, place a generous portion of the slaw. Top with the cooked tiger prawns. Drizzle with the nam jim sauce and garnish with fried garlic and preserved lemon.
