Tea Preparation

1

Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

2

Steep Tea

Remove the saucepan from heat and add 4 black tea bags to the boiling water. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

3

Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, remove the tea bags from the saucepan and discard them.

4

Sweeten (if desired)

If you prefer sweetened tea, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar or 0.5 cup of honey while the tea is still warm, until fully dissolved.

Cooling and Serving

5

Cool the Tea

Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until chilled.

6

Prepare Glasses

In a glass or pitcher, fill with 2 cups of ice cubes.

7

Pour Tea

Once the tea is chilled, pour it over the ice cubes in the glasses or pitcher.

8

Add Water (if needed)

Add 2 cups of cold water to dilute the tea to your preferred strength.

9

Garnish (optional)

Garnish with fresh lemon slices and mint leaves for added flavor.
