Slider Patties

Slider Assembly

Method

Preparing the Slider Patties

1

Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

2

Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form each portion into a small patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

3

Cook Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with shredded cheddar cheese and cover to melt.

Assembling the Sliders

4

Prepare Buns

Slice the slider buns in half and toast them lightly if desired.

5

Add Lettuce

Place a generous amount of shredded lettuce on the bottom half of each bun.

6

Add Patties

Top the lettuce with a cooked patty from the previous step.

7

Add Toppings

Layer on slices of tomato and avocado on top of the patties.

8

Finish with Sauce

Add a dollop of sour cream and drizzle hot sauce over the top. Place the top half of the bun on each slider.

9

Serve

Serve the torta sliders immediately with your choice of sides.
