Oyster Shooter Directions

1

Prepare the oysters

Shuck the fresh oysters carefully, ensuring to keep the oyster in its shell half. Place the shucked oysters on a plate with a bit of crushed ice to keep them fresh.

2

Mix the cocktail sauce

In a small bowl, combine the cocktail sauce, prepared horseradish, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Stir well until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

3

Assemble the oyster shooters

In each oyster shell, add a spoonful of the cocktail sauce mixture over the oyster. Make sure it covers the oyster but does not overwhelm it.

4

Garnish and serve

Garnish each oyster shooter with a small piece of fresh parsley or chives. Serve immediately with a wedge of lemon on the side.
