Preparation

1

Prepare the Glass

Begin by chilling your glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water while you prepare the rest of the drink.

2

Mix the Base Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of peach nectar, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

Garnishing

3

Prepare the Peach Slices

Take the peach slices and sprinkle brown sugar evenly over both sides. If desired, add a dash of cinnamon for extra flavor.

4

Brulee the Peaches

Using a kitchen torch, carefully caramelize the brown sugar on the peach slices until it bubbles and turns golden brown. If you do not have a torch, you can place them under a broiler for a minute, watching closely to prevent burning.

Assembly

5

Combine and Serve

Remove the ice from the chilled glass. Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass. Garnish the drink with the bruleed peach slices on the rim of the glass.
