For the Dungeness Crab Cakes

Method

For the Dungeness Crab Cakes

1

Prepare the Crab Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the Dungeness crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and egg. Mix gently to combine.

2

Form the Cakes

Add the breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir until just combined. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

3

Cook the Crab Cakes

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

For the Green Cabbage, Fennel and Apple Salad

4

Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, sliced fennel, and apple. Toss gently.

5

Serve the crab cakes warm alongside the salad.
