Method

Preparation

1

Marinate the Flank Steak

In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, lime juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create the marinade.

2

Add the Steak

Place the flank steak in a large ziplock bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the steak is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

Cooking

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

4

Cook the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

5

Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Serving

6

Prepare the Tortillas

Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a skillet until they are soft and pliable.

7

Slice and Serve

Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips. Serve the steak with warm tortillas, pico de gallo, sour cream, and sliced avocado on the side.
