Method

Preparation of Proteins

1

Marinate the Proteins

In a bowl, combine the chicken breast, beef flank steak, and shrimp. Add olive oil, cumin powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the proteins evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Vegetable Preparation

2

Slice the Vegetables

While the proteins are marinating, slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips. Mince the garlic.

Cooking

3

Cook the Proteins

In a large skillet or frying pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and beef first. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally.

4

Add Shrimp and Vegetables

Once the chicken and beef are cooked, add the shrimp and the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the vegetables are tender.

Serving

5

Serve the Fajitas

Remove the skillet from heat. Warm the flour tortillas in a separate pan or microwave. Serve the fajitas hot, accompanied by sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro, and lime wedges on the side.
