Method

Preparation

1

Marinate the Chicken

In a medium bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, Sriracha, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.

2

Add Chicken to Marinade

Place the chicken breasts in the marinade, making sure they are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Cooking

3

Preheat the Pan

Heat a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil to the pan to prevent sticking.

4

Cook the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the marinade (reserving the marinade) and place it in the hot pan. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C or 165°F).

5

Glaze the Chicken

In the last few minutes of cooking, pour the reserved marinade over the chicken and allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, coating the chicken in the sweet and spicy sauce.

Serving

6

Plate and Garnish

Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken and serve it on a platter. Drizzle any remaining sauce from the pan over the top. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
