Method

Protein Preparation

1

Cook the Protein

Choose either chicken, beef, or pork. Cut into small pieces if using chicken or pork. In a skillet over medium heat, add the chosen protein and cook until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).

2

Add Seasoning

Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked protein. Mix well to ensure the meat is evenly coated. Add a splash of water if needed to help the seasoning adhere, and let simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Taco Assembly

3

Warm the Tortillas

In a separate skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.

4

Assemble the Tacos

Take a warm tortilla and add a generous amount of the seasoned protein in the center. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro, and sliced jalapeños to taste.

Serving

5

Serve

Serve the tacos warm, either on a plate or in a taco holder. Enjoy with additional toppings and your favorite hot sauce.
