Preparation
Chill the Glass
Before preparing the drink, chill a rocks glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside for a few minutes while you prepare the cocktail.
Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 ounces of Amaretto and 1 ounce of Scotch whiskey. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
Shake
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Prepare the Glass
Discard the ice water from the chilled rocks glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass over fresh ice.
Garnish
