Marinade

Vegetables

For Grilling

Method

Preparing the Marinade

1

Mix Marinade Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well until a smooth marinade forms.

2

Marinate Paneer

Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes and add them to the marinade. Ensure that all the pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Preparing Vegetables

3

Chop Vegetables

While the paneer is marinating, chop the bell peppers into 1-inch pieces and slice the onion into thick rings.

Assembling and Grilling

4

Prepare Skewers

Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using. This prevents them from burning on the grill.

5

Assemble Skewers

Thread marinated paneer cubes, bell pepper pieces, and onion rings alternately onto the skewers.

6

Grill the Skewers

Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the skewers with olive oil and grill for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden and vegetables are tender.

Serving

7

Serve

Remove the skewers from the grill and let them cool slightly. Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt sauce.
