Method

Base & Spirits

1

Combine spirits

Add 2 oz bourbon, 0.5 oz peach liqueur and 0.5 oz Cointreau to a cocktail shaker.

Citrus & Sweeteners

2

Add citrus & syrup

Pour in 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice and 0.5 oz simple syrup into the shaker with the spirits.

Brightener & Effervescence

3

Add orange juice

Add 0.5 oz fresh orange juice to round out the flavors.

4

Shake

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled (shaker should feel very cold).

5

Strain & Top

Double-strain (fine strainer optional) into a rocks glass over fresh large ice. Top with 2 oz club soda (or sparkling water) to add effervescence and a lighter finish.

Garnish

6

Garnish with a peach slice or thin orange wheel on the rim and optionally a lemon twist for extra aroma. Serve immediately.

Ice

7

Use fresh ice in the serving glass to keep the drink cold without diluting too quickly.
