Preparation of Ingredients

1

Prepare the Pandan Leaves

Rinse the pandan leaves under cold water to remove any dirt. Tie them in a knot or fold them for infusion.

2

Prepare the Granny Smith Apples

Wash the Granny Smith apples thoroughly. Core and chop them into small pieces, leaving the skin on for added texture.

3

Juice the Citrus

Cut the citrus fruit in half and juice it using a citrus juicer or by hand. Strain the juice to remove any seeds.

Cooking

4

Combine Ingredients

In a large pot, add 4 cups of water, the prepared pandan leaves, and the chopped Granny Smith apples.

5

Simmer the Mixture

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.

6

Add Citrus and Sweetener

After 20 minutes, add the strained citrus juice and honey to the pot. Stir well and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

7

Strain and Serve

Remove the pot from heat. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the mixture into a serving pitcher or bowl, discarding the solids. Serve warm or chilled.
