Brewing Process

1

Step 1: Prepare the Wort

In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the malted barley and boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2

Step 2: Add Hops

After 30 minutes, add the Cascade hops. Then, in the last 5 minutes of boiling, add the Citra hops.

3

Step 3: Cool the Wort

Remove the pot from heat and cool the wort quickly using an immersion chiller or by placing the pot in an ice bath.

4

Step 4: Fermentation

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel and pitch the yeast. Seal with an airlock and let it ferment for about 1-2 weeks at room temperature.

5

Step 5: Bottling

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer before bottling. Bottle the beer and cap the bottles.

6

Step 6: Carbonation

Let the bottles carbonate at room temperature for about 1-2 weeks before chilling and serving.
