Method

Preparing the Tea

1

Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil.

2

Steep the Tea

Once the water has boiled, remove it from heat. If using loose leaf tea, place it in a tea infuser or directly in the pot. Add the tea bags if using. Pour boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 3-5 minutes depending on desired strength.

3

Remove Tea

After steeping, remove the tea bags or infuser from the pot. If you used loose leaf tea directly, strain the liquid into cups.

Adding Flavors

4

Sweeten to Taste

If desired, add honey to the hot tea and stir until dissolved.

5

Add Lemon

For a refreshing twist, squeeze in lemon juice to taste.

6

Creamy Option

If you prefer a creamier tea, add milk or cream and stir well.

7

Spice it Up

For additional flavor, sprinkle in cinnamon or ginger and stir to combine.
