Preparation and Cooking

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat the Laudemio EVOO over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes, sautéing for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

3

Add Tomatoes

Add the canned whole tomatoes, breaking them up with a spoon. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes until it thickens.

4

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Once the sauce has thickened, add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet. Toss to combine and incorporate the sauce evenly. Stir in the chopped fresh basil.

5

Serve

Divide the pasta among plates. Top each serving with torn pieces of burrata cheese and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano. Drizzle with extra Laudemio EVOO if desired.
